Matthew Fisher is a Director of Debt and Equity at JS Coats Capital, where he is responsible for securing both debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions nationwide. In addition to traditional permanent debt, Matthew specializes in construction, bridge, and mezzanine financing. He is experienced in raising preferred and common equity as well facilitating JV, LP, and Co-GP partnerships. Matthew is frequently engaged to help both local and international clients build wealth through the development of their real estate portfolios.
Matthew began his CRE career during his freshman year of college when he started CalProp Inspections LLC, which performed thousands of national, property inspections on behalf of life insurance lenders and their correspondents. He left CalProp in 2015 to join JS Coats Capital as a loan officer. A lifelong student, he went on to receive a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE), via the Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington.
Matthew’s goal is to facilitate lasting, mutually beneficial relationships between his clients and JS Coats’ capital partners. Paramount to that success is understanding the long-term goals of his clients and connecting them with groups who can assist in making their vision a reality.
